The Office of the Occupation Investigative Committee for Crimea and Sevastopol reports the initiation of a criminal case against the Deputy Head of the Department of the State Committee for State Registration and Cadastre of Crimea. He was charged with "exceeding official authority with serious consequences", - the official was arrested.
"The Office for Investigation of Particularly Important Cases has established that the director of one of the Crimean agricultural firms submitted documents to the State Committee for State Registration and Cadastre for state registration of ownership of this land plot over 775,000 square meters in Yevpatoria", - was informed in the statement.
Also in department claim that the occupying official "in violation of the legislation without carrying out legal examination of documents registered the property right on firm of the given land plot on which objects of city property are located".
"These actions of the official caused significant material damage to the municipality. At the request of the investigation, the person involved in the criminal case was taken into custody by the Kyiv District Court of the city of Simferopol”, - was informed by the department.
