Occupying officers of the Migration Department visited Irina Kopylova, who was accused of residing without a Russian passport. The inspection will last from September 10 to 20, and Kopylova will be informed about the results by the Migration Department.

Activist Elmaz Akimova told Crimean Solidarity about it.

It is reported that two "officers of the migration service" came to the residence of the public activist at about 11:30 a.m. with an unscheduled inspection by order of the occupying police lieutenant colonel N.V. Skoba due to "non-compliance by a foreign citizen with the regime of stay in the territory of the Russian Federation".

What is known

  • On September 8, Irina Kopylova, who took part in a rally of Crimean Tatars near the occupation FSB building, was summoned to the police department to draw up an administrative report under Article 19.15, Part 1 of the Administrative Code ("Residence of a citizen of the Russian Federation without an identity document"). The article implies that a citizen does not have a Russian passport or it is invalid. As punishment, she faces a fine of 2 to 3 thousand rubles.
  • On September 3 - 4, five Crimean Tatars were detained in Simferopol and Yevpatoria: business person Eldar Adamanov, cousins Aziz and Asan Akhtemov, Shevket Useinov, and deputy head of the Crimean Tatar People's Mejlis Nariman Dzhelal on suspicion of blowing up a gas pipeline in the village of Perevalne.
