According to the decision of the Vlasikha Military Court of Appeal, political prisoners Servet Gaziev, Alim Karimov, Dzhemil Gafarov, Seyran Murtaza and Erfan Osmanov, who became ill with coronavirus in Rostov-on-Don SIZO-5, will remain in the pre-trial detention center until September 20, 2021.

The defense tried to convince the court of the absurdity of keeping the defendants in solitary confinement that they were not going to hide from the occupied Crimea. It became known from the defendants that Karimov, Osmanov and Gaziev had already contracted the coronavirus in the remand prison several times. SIZO-5 did not inform the defenders about this, despite the fact that COVID-19 is currently raging there.
