US diplomat George Kent discusses Crimean platform summit with Crimean Tatars

The situation in the Russian-occupied Crimea and the Crimean Platform summit in Kyiv on August 23 were the main topics of a meeting between US Chargé d'Affaires in Ukraine, US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State George Kent and Crimean Tatar leader Mustafa Dzhemilev and President Medzh.
This was reported by the US Embassy on its Facebook page.
In addition to representatives of the Crimean Tatar people, Ukrainian officials and deputies were present at the meeting.
"I had the honour to meet with the leaders of the Crimean Tatar people, deputies and government officials, and discuss the current occupation of Crimea by Russia, the persecution of the population, and the future Crimean platform", - George Kent wrote.
