33 new cases of coronavirus were recorded in occupied Crimea and Sevastopol

On July 10, 24 cases of COVID-19 were recorded in occupied Crimea, and 9 in Sevastopol.

The occupying "chairman" of the Crimea Sergey Aksyonov reported about it on his Facebook page.

According to Aksyonov, in occupied Crimea, 12 cases were brought, 4 were detected during anti-epidemic measures, 7 during medical treatment, and 1 during the screening of healthy people.

According to the daily monitoring from the occupying Ministry of Health of Crimea, on July 10, 314 patients with COVID-19 were taken under medical supervision, 280 people were placed under dynamic supervision at home, 26 people were admitted to hospitals, 8 more were isolated in observatories.

Over the past 24hrs, 293 people with coronavirus were discharged from medical institutions, 12 from hospitals, 44 people dropped out of observatories, and 237 people were removed from dynamic home supervision. 12 people recovered.

According to the occupation government of Sevastopol, as of the morning of July 11, 9 new cases of COVID-19 were detected in the city.

It is noted that one of the patients was a man who came to Sevastopol on vacation. Eight others are locals who have been in contact with previously ill people. All of them were taken under medical supervision, later tests confirmed positive results.

What is known

  • A total of 855 cases of new coronavirus infection have been registered in occupied Crimea for the current period. 53 of them were brought from abroad, 99 - imported from the Russian Federation and found in contact with them, 616 - found in medical treatment and in contact with persons with laboratory-confirmed results, 87 - in laboratory screening of healthy individuals. 647 people recovered during the whole period.
  • A total of 267 people have fallen ill with COVID-19 in occupied Sevastopol since the beginning of the year. At the moment there are 45 people in hospitals. Recovered - 209, 5 - died.
  • There are 4,397 people under medical supervision on the occupied peninsula, of which 3,251 are under dynamic supervision at home, 352 in hospitals, and 794 people are isolated in observatories.
  • A total of 52,843 people fell ill with coronavirus on the mainland of Ukraine, 1,372 died, and 25,661 recovered.
