In the Southern District Military Court of the city of Rostov-on-Don, during a hearing in the Oleg Prykhodko case, two witnesses gave a positive description of the accused Ukrainian.

Lawyer Nazim Sheikhmbametov told about it in the comment to the Crimean solidarity.

"Today we interrogated two witnesses - they are residents of the city of Saki, they know Oleg. During the interrogation, witnesses showed that they know Oleg Arkadyevich only on the positive side", -Sheikhmbametov said.

On October 10, 2019, both witnesses were searched, after which they became witnesses in this criminal case.

One of the witnesses explained that when he was searched, he was on his birthday, so he was in a state of intoxication. After a search of the house, the witness was taken to the FSB in Simferopol, where he was poured "100 grams" after which he was interrogated and released, and he returned home by taxi", - the lawyer said.

The second witness testified that he knew Prikhodko only on the positive side. He said that Prikhodko helped restore the church in Evpatoria.

The lawyer said that the Russian accusation "is trying to create an image of a kind of marginal, a person who professes inhuman fascist views".

"This criminal case is absolutely political", - Sheikhmbametov said.

The next hearing in the Prykhodko case will take place on August 10.
