17 new cases of coronavirus have been recorded in occupied Crimea and Sevastopol

On July 9, 16 cases of COVID-19 were recorded in occupied Crimea, and 1 in Sevastopol.

The occupying "chairman" of Crimea Sergey Aksyonov reported about it on his Facebook.

During anti-epidemic measures, 8 cases were identified, during the screening of healthy people - 2, when seeking medical help - 5, another 1 - from abroad.

According to daily monitoring by the occupying Crimean Ministry of Health, on July 9, the number of patients with COVID-19 under medical supervision increased by 523, 352 people were placed under dynamic supervision at home, 31 people were admitted to hospitals, and another 140 were isolated in observatories.

Over the past 24hrs, 212 people with coronavirus were discharged from medical institutions, 14 from hospitals, 59 people left observers, and 139 people were removed from dynamic home supervision. 14 people recovered.

According to the occupying government of Sevastopol, as of the morning of July 10, one new case of COVID-19 was detected in the city.

It is noted that a pensioner from occupied Sevastopol became ill with coronavirus. The source of infection is established.

What is known

  • A total of 831 cases of coronavirus have been registered in occupied Crimea for the current period. 635 people recovered during the whole period.
  • In total, since the beginning of the year, 258 people have fallen ill with the new coronavirus infection in occupied Sevastopol, 200 people have recovered, and 5 have died. At the moment there are 45 people in hospitals.
  • There are 4,376 patients with coronavirus under medical supervision, of which 3,208 people are under dynamic supervision at home, 338 people are in hospitals, and 830 are isolated in observatories.
  • A total of 52,043 people fell ill with coronavirus on the mainland of Ukraine, 1,345 died, and 24,800 recovered.
