The occupiers found COVID-19 infection in 12 children who were in the Artek International Children's Center.

The director of the Artek centre Konstantin Fedorenko reported about it occupying mass media.

"To date, 12 children have been diagnosed with infectious diseases, and we have transferred them to medical institutions of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Crimea. It was confirmed that the children have COVID-19", - Fedorenko said.

What is known

  • "Artek" works in a regular mode. About 2,500 children are currently on duty at the camp.
  • As of the morning of June 20, 178 new COVID-19 cases had been "officially" registered in the occupied Crimea, and 66 in Sevastopol.
