On June 19, as a result of a flood in occupied Yalta, 18 people were injured, one woman went missing, and one person died. The distribution of free drinking water has been organized since the night.

The “head” of the occupation administration of Yalta Yanina Pavlenko announced it on her Facebook page.

“As a result, 18 people were injured. Two persons were hospitalized, one injured person was operated on. One fatality (in Krasnokamenka), one woman is missing - searches are underway", - Pavlenko wrote.

According to her, because of heavy downpours in Yalta, 101 houses were flooded. 608 people were evacuated, including 50 minors. Temporary accommodation centres took 90 residents, 36 of them remain there, four of them are children.

In addition, mudflows occurred in the villages of Blue Bay, Oreanda, Livadia-2, Gurzuf, and Koreiz.

 7,211 customers are cut off from the electricity and 235 subscribers have been disconnected from the gas supply. Water disposal is carried out as usual.

They also cut off the water supply in the entire city district. 8 water carriers with drinking water are located: on Kievskaya St., Dzerzhinsky St.19, Biryukova St.36, ​​Griboedova St. 2, Krupskaya St. 22, Krivoshty St.7, and on Shkolnaya Street in the village of Gaspra.

Water is also distributed at the “PUD” supermarket in Alupka on Amet-Khan Sultan St. 14 in the village of Gaspra on Alupkinskoye highway, 58 B, in the village of Gurzuf on Solovyov St. 5A.

Crimean producers are also involved - they give water and distribute it as humanitarian aid. So, from the night the process was adjusted by “Yalta Product”, its production has been urgently launched, and others are also joined.
