In Yalta, the central streets and the 10th micro district were temporarily cut off from power because of the flood. Water was also cut off throughout the city. In addition, eight people were injured in the downpour, and one person died.

“Head” of the Yalta occupation administration Yanina Pavlenko announced it on Facebook.

“We are temporarily disconnecting the central streets of Yalta, as well as the 10th micro district from electricity. Please be understanding and calm", - Pavlenko wrote.

In addition, they have cut the whole of Yalta off from the water supply, and the occupying authorities will make schedules, which will be made public soon.

As a result of the downpour, eight people were injured. “Eight people were injured. One patient was operated on - he had an ankle fracture. The rest -have minor injuries that do not require hospital treatment", - she said.

“Adviser to the head of Crimea” Oleg Kryuchkov reports that one person, born in 1995, died during the flooding, TASS informs.

“There is one victim in Yalta. Born in 1995. He was swept away by the floodwaters", -  Kryuchkov said.

The occupation Ministry of Emergency Situations of Crimea also received information that as a result of heavy rains, 87 facts of flooding were registered. Also, information was received about the flooding of the basements of 24 residential apartment buildings. A temporary accommodation centre has been deployed based on the Avangard hotel, which accommodates 52 people, including 9 children. Rescuers evacuated 49 people, including 9 children.

Due to the rise of rainwater, the support of the gas supply system was washed away. Currently, work is underway to restore gas supply to Yalta for 60 subscribers.
