There is enough water in Russia's illegally occupied Crimea to meet the needs of the population.

This was stated by Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov on TV channel 1 + 1.

"The fact that there is no water for industry is another matter. The position is quite simple: when there is Ukrainian industry, when there is Ukraine, there will definitely be Ukrainian water”, - Danilov said.

Danilov stressed that while Crimea is occupied, it makes no sense for Ukraine to supply water there so that the occupiers can develop an army.

“As long as Crimea is not Ukrainian, I believe that we have no moral right to supply water to the occupiers so that they can develop their Armed Forces there. Today, the population of Crimea is provided with 100% drinking water”, - the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council emphasized.
