It is noted that the Office will ensure the continued operation of this platform so that it is not limited to a pure summit.

"We are currently working on the track for the introduction of the permanent Crimean Platform Office in order to really start on August 23, so that we can ensure the continuity and stability of the Crimean Platform process. That it becomes a permanent phenomenon and not one summit or summits that will be for a certain period. Therefore, a permanent office that will serve the idea of ​​the Crimean platform is one of the key things we need to talk about", - Korynevych stressed.

Anton Korynevych also said that one of the tools of the strategy of deoccupation and reintegration of Crimea is the development of southern Ukraine and the southern regions of the Kherson region, which temporarily border on the temporarily occupied territories.

Day 1 of the forum began with a discussion of the advanced strategy for the development of southern Ukraine from Mariupol to Izmail. It was attended by the heads of Kherson, Odesa and Zaporizhia regional state administrations. The purpose of the forum is to attract investors to the major infrastructure development and development of the south, in particular the administrative border with the occupied Crimea. It is planned to build resorts, a waste processing plant, gas pipelines and airports for small aircraft. Rostyslav Zamlynskyi, Deputy Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories, spoke about the importance of such investment measures.

"In fact, investments are not just about profits and jobs, they are a matter of national security for Ukraine and the countries that help us curb the armed aggression of the Russian Federation. Yes, Russia is committing an act of armed aggression, everyone is talking about a hybrid war, information war, cyberwar, but there is another hybrid war - it is restraining development", - Zamlinsky said.
