On July 8, 11 cases of coronavirus infection were registered in occupied Crimea, and 3 in Sevastopol.

The occupying "chairman" of the Crimea Sergey Aksonov reported about it on his Facebook page.

5 cases were detected during anti-epidemic measures, 1 during screening of healthy persons, 4 during medical treatment, and another 1 from abroad.

According to daily monitoring by the occupying Crimean Ministry of Health, on July 8, the number of COVID-19 patients under medical supervision increased by 678, 501 people were placed under dynamic home supervision, 32 people were admitted to hospitals, and another 145 were isolated under observation.

Over the past 24hrs, 295 people with coronavirus were discharged from medical institutions, 25 from hospitals, 146 people dropped out of observatories, and 124 people were removed from dynamic home supervision. 25 people recovered.

According to the occupation government of Sevastopol, as of the morning of July 9, three new cases of COVID-19 were detected in the city.

It is noted that the patients are young people who came to occupied Sevastopol for a vacation from the Perm region. Another person was discharged after recovery.

What is known

  • A total of 815 coronavirus cases have been registered in occupied Crimea so far. Recovered for the entire period - 621 people.
