Ukrainian military engineers near the administrative border with the occupied Crimea practised the actions of units to establish an anti-tank minefield and to mask the boundaries of the deployment of a mobile barricade detachment.

This was reported to Suspilne Crimea by the Commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant-General Serhiy Nayev.

According to him, the sapper soldiers, using mine barriers, worked out the issue of installing anti-tank mines on land both in the ground and on its surface.

"This time the soldiers performed the task of laying mines in the ground and on the surface, their actions were blocked by an aerosol camouflage detachment. We know that the sudden blocking of explosive barriers in threatening areas not only significantly slows down and prohibits the advance of the enemy into the depths of our defence, but also inflicts significant losses on them", - Nayev said.
