Polish Ambassador to Ukraine Bartosz Cichotski and Romanian Ambassador to Ukraine Christian-Leon Turcanu plan to visit the administrative border between the occupied Crimea and the Kherson region on May 11 in preparation for the Crimean Platform summit.

It was reported in the press service of the Polish Embassy, ​​according to Crimea.Realii.

"In the presence of the Permanent Representative of the President of Ukraine to the Autonomous Republic of Crimea Anton Korynevych, the ambassadors will also get acquainted with the situation at the checkpoints on the administrative line with the temporarily occupied peninsula: Kalanchak and Chaplynka, - was informed in the message.

What is known

  • During the talks in Kyiv, the foreign ministers of Ukraine, Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg discussed additional actions to deter Russia, support Ukrainian reforms and the Crimean platform.
  • At the administrative border with the occupied Crimea in April, Ukrainian border guards found 65 violators who entered the peninsula from the territory of the Russian Federation through closed checkpoints. They were brought to administrative responsibility, and the total amount of fines reached more than 96 thousand hryvnias.
