The reserve fund of the government of the Russian Federation in 2021 will allocate 70 million rubles (26 million UAH) for implementation of the program of geological prospecting works in the waters of the Sea of ​​Azov for the purpose of estimation of resource potential of drinking underground waters.

The relevant document was published on the 13 of April on the portal of legal information of the Russian Federation.

To allocate in 2021 Rosnadram from the reserve fund of the Government of the Russian Federation budget allocations in the amount of 70 million rubles to provide a subsidy to the joint-stock company "Rosgeologiya" for financial support of a comprehensive program of exploration in the Sea of ​​Azov. stage of geological exploration to assess the resource potential of drinking groundwater in Quaternary and Neogene sediments within the Sea of ​​Azov", - informed in the statement.

It is noted that exploration activities must be carried out by the 1st of February, 2022.
