The "Supreme Court" of the occupied Crimea has extended the arrest of Ivan Yatskin from Crimea for three months.

His lawyer Mykola Polozov told News on Suspilne News Channel about it.

According to him, the defence has already filed an appeal. On April 20 this year, a hearing on the merits of Ivan Yatskin's case will take place.

"He was transferred from the Lefortovo pre-trial detention centre to the Crimea on 9 of April, that is, he has been in the Simferopol pre-trial detention centre for four days now. He is being held in a quarantine cell of 10 people", - the lawyer reported.

Polozov also noted that the prosecutor requested an extension of detention for 6 months. The defence requested a change in the measure of restraint, as an alternative to house arrest, given the state of health and the presence of young children.
