The Russian Federation violated the requirements of the OSCE Vienna Document on Confidence- and Security-Building Measures by refusing to explain the increase in its troops in the occupied Crimea, ORDLO, and along the Ukrainian border.

It was stated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.

"The Russian side refused to provide substantive information in accordance with the request, stating that it does not conduct such activities. Further attempts by the Ukrainian side to involve Russia in consultations aimed at reducing tensions were also ignored", - the Foreign Ministry was informed.

In addition, the Russian delegation boycotted the meeting with the participation of other OSCE participating States, which was convened by Ukraine on 10 of April.

As a result, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry once again called on Russia to "withdraw troops from the border with Ukraine".

"We call on the Russian side to withdraw troops from the border with Ukraine, to stop militant rhetoric and disinformation, and to start faithfully fulfilling the security provisions of the Minsk agreements and its obligations under the OSCE Vienna Document", - the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry was announced.
