In Crimea and Sevastopol, the occupiers record 120 new cases of COVID-19

On April 7, 88 new COVID-19 cases were "officially" registered in occupied Crimea, 32 in Sevastopol. Also, 4 people died on the peninsula, and 1 in Sevastopol.

Occupying "chairperson" of Crimea Sergey Aksyonov reported it on Facebook.

Among new cases 6 are asymptomatic.

Of the total number of patients, 63 were detected during medical treatment, 25 - among the contacts in previously registered cases.

According to the occupation Ministry of Health of Crimea, 4 people died of the coronavirus on the occupied peninsula in the past 24 hours, and 110 recovered.

51 people with COVID-19 were admitted for outpatient treatment, and 51 for inpatient treatment.

For the past 24 hours, 89 people have been removed from outpatient treatment and 43 from inpatient treatment.

According to the occupation government of Sevastopol, on the morning of April 7, 32 people fell ill with COVID-19, 38 people overcame the disease.

One person aged 77 died of the coronavirus in Sevastopol.

On April 7, 15,415 new cases of COVID-19 were recorded in the territory controlled by Ukraine. In particular, 636 children and 437 health workers fell ill. 481 people died in a day, 11,472 recovered.

What is known

  • 38,218 COVID-19 cases have been officially registered in occupied Crimea for the current period. 35,813 people recovered during the whole period, and 1,107 died.
  • 13,463 people have fallen ill with coronavirus in occupied Sevastopol since the beginning of the year. Recovered for the entire period - 12,422, died - 573.
  •  1,784,579 cases of coronavirus have been registered in mainland Ukraine since the beginning of the year. Recovered for the entire period - 1,373,851, died - 35,498.
