In Crimea and Sevastopol, the occupiers record 122 new cases of COVID-19

On April 6, 89 new COVID-19 cases were "officially" registered in occupied Crimea, 33 in Sevastopol. Five people died on the peninsula, and 2 in Sevastopol.

Occupying "chairperson" of Crimea Sergey Aksyonov reported it on Facebook.

Of the total number of patients, 61 were detected when seeking medical help, 28 - among contacts in previously registered cases.

According to the occupation Ministry of Health of Crimea, 5 people died of the coronavirus on the occupied peninsula in the past 24 hours, and 88 recovered.

49 people with COVID-19 were admitted for outpatient treatment, and 48 for inpatient treatment.

Over the past 24 hours, 77 people have been discharged from outpatient treatment and 29 from inpatient treatment.

According to the occupation government of Sevastopol, on the morning of April 6, 33 people fell ill with COVID-19. Also, 36 people overcame the disease.

Two people aged 68 and 76 died of coronavirus in Sevastopol.

On April 6, 13,276 new cases of COVID-19 were recorded in the territory controlled by Ukraine. In particular, 508 children and 338 health workers fell ill. 430 people died in one day, 10,240 recovered.

What is known

  • 38,130 COVID-19 cases have been officially registered in occupied Crimea for the current period. 35,703 people recovered during the entire period, 1,103 died.
  • 13,431 people have been infected with the coronavirus in occupied Sevastopol since the beginning of the year. Recovered for the entire period - 12,384, died - 572.
  • 1,769,164 cases of coronavirus have been registered in mainland Ukraine since the beginning of the year. Recovered for the entire period - 1,362,379, died - 35,017.
