In Crimea and Sevastopol, the occupiers record 149 new coronavirus cases

On February 22, 86 new COVID-19 cases were “officially” registered in occupied Crimea, 63 in Sevastopol. Five people died on the peninsula, and 3 in Sevastopol.

The occupying “chairperson” of Crimea Sergey Aksyonov reported this on Facebook.

Of the total number of patients, 59 were identified when seeking medical care, 27 - among contacts in previously registered cases.

According to the occupation Ministry of Health of Crimea, 5 people died of coronavirus on the occupied peninsula in the past 24 hours, and 15 recovered.

Twenty-eight people with COVID-19 were admitted for outpatient treatment, and 67 for inpatient treatment.

For the past 24 hours, ten people have been removed from outpatient treatment and 70 from inpatient treatment.

According to the occupation government of Sevastopol, on the morning of February 22, 63 people fell ill with COVID-19. Meanwhile, fifty-seven people overcame the disease.

Three people aged 54 to 62 died of coronavirus in Sevastopol.

As of the morning of February 22, 3,206 new COVID-19 cases have been recorded in the territory controlled by Ukraine. In particular, 216 children and 78 health workers got infected. Fifty-three people died in one day, 1,353 recovered.

  • 35,316 COVID-19 cases have been officially registered in occupied Crimea for the current period. 31,004 people recovered during the entire period, 900 died.
  • 11,567 people have been infected with the coronavirus in occupied Sevastopol since the beginning of the year. Recovered for the entire period - 10,429, died - 475.
  • 1,307,662 cases of coronavirus have been registered in mainland Ukraine since the beginning of the year. He recovered for the entire period - 1,147,426, died - 25,156.
