"Let me go, or I will kill you": A resident of Zaporizhzhia rammed the barrier at the Chongar checkpoint to break into occupied Crimea

A resident of Zaporizhzhia locked himself in an SUV and tried to break through the Chongar checkpoint, avoiding control. The 29-year-old man rammed the barrier until border guards pulled him out of the car. The driver of the Nissan X-Trail did not calm down, instead, he swore and resisted. The violator was detained.
This was reported in the State Border Guard Service.
"Border guards brought the driver to administrative responsibility for violating the regime rules at the entry\exit checkpoint, as well as for malicious disobedience to the lawful order of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine. The detainee and the car were handed over to the National Police for a legal decision", - the statement said.
What is known
- Citizens of Ukraine entering from the occupied Ukrainian territories will be able to do a free rapid response Coid19 test at the checkpoint. In the case of a negative result, they will not need to self-isolate.
