Moscow will not discuss the issue of Crimea's affiliation with representatives of Washington, as it is a closed topic.

Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia Sergei Ryabkov stated this, the Russian news agency "TASS" reported.

"As for the issue of Crimea, there is nothing to discuss here. This is a done deal", - he said.

Ryabkov added that Russia and the United States need to work more actively to improve bilateral relations.

"If the United States wants to increase (sanctions - ed.), fine. But at some point, it will become clear that this policy is ineffective. It will demonstrate its ineffectiveness", - said the Deputy Foreign Minister.
