As part of the project about Crimea in virtual reality (VR) "Native Crimea", stories will come out every Sunday for a month, where the heroes will tell how they remember the peninsula. Akhtem Seitablaev was the first who shared his memories. In the next series, Oleg Sentsov, Jamala, Mustafa Dzhemilev will tell their stories.

One of the organizers of the project, Bohdan Logvynenko, told Suspilne Crimea about this.

According to him, the purpose of such VR-videos is to show Crimea to those who cannot get there.

"We have been looking for some opportunity to show Crimea for a long time. Because we show success stories, in different regions of Ukraine, about accessibility and so on, and where we need to show the history of inaccessibility", - said the organizer.

According to Logvinenko, the project was part of Ukraine's stand at the Frankfurt Book Fair. The organizers showed the VR-series at the fair.

"Oleg Sentsov watched our VR-series, he also presented his book there. There was also Alim Aliyev, and we thought that it would be great to show Crimea", - told the Suspilne Crimea.
