The occupiers plan to drill wells for water supply in Simferopol by spring 2021. Theoretically, this will improve the situation with the water supply of the Crimean occupied capital by April, even in the complete absence of precipitation.

The "head" of Crimea, Sergey Aksyonov announced this, at a meeting of the occupation "operational headquarters" to address water supply problems on November 30.

Aksyonov said that soon the Crimean people should not count on water from reservoirs. Sufficient precipitation is not forecast for their filling.

It is expected that the wells will provide 110 thousand cubic meters of water per day from April 1, 2021.

"We are counting on the worst option so far and say that it is guaranteed that 110 thousand cubic meters as of April 1 through underground sources will enter the water supply system of Simferopol, even if there is not a gram of precipitation. But in terms of weather forecast is not optimistic", - he said.
