The Prosecutor's Office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea has sent to court an indictment against the assistant captain of a Chornomornaftogaz drilling rig
The Prosecutor's Office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol has filed an indictment against the assistant captain of the drilling rig of the illegally established Chornomornaftogaz enterprise. He is accused of repeatedly violating the order of entry/exit to the territory of occupied Crimea and causing damage to the interests of Ukraine.
The press service of the Prosecutor's Office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea reported this.
"Since 2014, the accused has systematically violated the order of entry/exit from/to the territory of the occupied peninsula, to harm the interests of Ukraine, which consisted in the illegal use by the Russian Federation of natural resources in the (marine) economic zone of Ukraine", - said in the message.
The assistant captain faces imprisonment from 3 to 5 years under Part 2 of Art. 332-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (violation of the procedure for entering and leaving the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine).
