Obtaining Ukrainian documents will be simplified for residents of the occupied Crimea. To obtain a Ukrainian passport, Crimeans will need to come to the controlled territory of Ukraine only once.

The deputy permanent representative of the president of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea Tamila Tashayeva told about it on an air of the program "In fact: Crimea" on the Dom TV channel.

“For example, in order to get a Ukrainian passport, including a biometric one, paste a photo, etc., you need to come from the Crimea to the territory controlled by Ukraine several times. We want certain stages of filing documents to be translated online. And then, in order to identify oneself, to put a fingerprint for a biometric passport, a person will have to come here, to the controlled part”, - she says.

According to her, such innovations will bring the Crimean people closer to Ukraine, thanks to which they will not lose contact with the mainland of Ukraine.
