The COVID-19 test was performed on only 13% of people entering occupied Crimea from Ukraine. All others receive a certificate in the occupied peninsula.

This was announced on September 23 by Natalia Penkovska, the "head" of the occupation of the occupying Rospotrebnadzor in Crimea and Sevastopol, during a meeting of the COVID-19 "operational headquarters".

"After the opening of the Ukrainian border, the number of people crossing the border increased from 250 per day to 750-800. In recent days, it has decreased to 550-500, but the flow remains quite large. At the same time, only 13% have certificates for the presence of coronavirus infection”, - Penkovska said.

According to her, 67% of the results of laboratory research are uploaded to the "corporate portal" in due time. As for those who did not do it - materials are transferred to the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

"We are beginning to bring to administrative responsibility those who have not passed such a study. We have already drawn up 69 such protocols", - added the "head" of the Department of Occupational Rospotrebnadzor.
