If the UN General Assembly recognizes Russia as an aggressor, it will facilitate Ukraine’s actions, particularly within the framework of the United Nations and in the courts to bring Russia to justice.

This was stated by the Permanent Representative of Ukraine to the UN Serhiy Kyslytsya in an interview with the Crimea Realia.

"But the fact that the country is an aggressor, for this we do not need permission, the consent of the General Assembly. To do this, read international law. Under international law, the Russian Federation is an aggressor, whether it wants to or not. No one in the world has any doubt that Russia is a party to the conflict. All Western and Eastern intelligence services know where weapons, soldiers, and officers are taken”, -Kyslytsya said.
