Investigative actions in the Ibragimovs' house began at 9 am on July 22 in the city of Yevpatoria in the occupied Crimea. At once in two places: home and shop, where the occupying security forces took the eldest brother in the family, Mustafa Ibragimov. Nine people were in the house at the time of the search.

"At first I was at home, they tried to break in, shouting" Get the sledgehammer, break the gate! ". I say, wait, I'll open. They ran with shields, machine guns. I say, "Don't shout, we're calm." They tried to break me, I didn't let them do it. I decided to sit down, and when I squatted down, one of the riot police officers kicked me in the back of the head. From the blow, I fell and hit my head on the pavement”, - Mustafa Ibragimov describes the events of that day.

According to Mustafa, "law enforcement officers" did not use force against his parents, but handcuffed his younger brother and laid him on the floor.

As it turned out, the search of the Ibragimovs' house and the shop was initiated by "employees" of the occupation "Center for Countering Extremism". Led by "senior operative" Oleksiy Malevants.

Some of the "security officers" remained to search the house, and some, together with Mustafa, went to the store, where the middle son of the Ibrahimov family, Abdullah, works as a salesman.

"It simply came to our notice then. "The security forces immediately forced all customers to leave the store, for some reason removed all the knives from the counter and read the decision that the search was carried out in order to identify those involved in the banned organizations", - Mustafa Ibragimov said.

He still does not understand why, after reading the protocol, "law enforcement officers" began to inspect the goods in the store, check product labels and describe some goods, including butter, several types of cottage cheese and sausages.

"It can't be called a search, we call it raids. Because when a large number of armed people come to religious people in the morning, what is it if not a raid and an attack? Indeed, they began to break the gate, at which point he was hit, knocked to the ground. Although people did not resist. All the other members of the family immediately showed their hands and sat almost squatting. That is, in such an intimidating mode, all this happened”, - lawyer Edem Semedlyaev commented. He, like his colleague, Nazim Sheikhmbametov, was not allowed to take part in the investigation.

It later became known that the middle son, Abdul Ibragimov, was taken away in an unknown direction by "employees" of the "E" center in civilian clothes in a dark-coloured Hyundai Tucson. It turned out that Abdullah incriminated administrative article 20.3 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation (Propaganda or public display of Nazi paraphernalia or symbols, or paraphernalia or symbols of extremist organizations, or other paraphernalia or symbols, the propaganda or public demonstration of which is prohibited by law).

The "trial" was held behind closed doors. The occupying judge of the Yevpatoria City Court in Crimea, Natalia Kiosa, did not grant any of the defenders' requests for an open trial. According to the court's decision, Ibragimov was accused of reposting a video on the Russian social network Vkontakte (banned in Ukraine) in 2013, which featured a Hizb flag. ut-Tahrir ”(banned in Russia, but legally operating organization in Ukraine). The video, according to defender Ibragimov, concerned the war in Syria.

Semedlyaev says that in the explanations, his client stated that he did not remember how he made this post. In addition, the Crimean Tatar stressed in the "court" that in the period from 2014 to 2016, his page was hacked. Despite this, Abdullah was arrested for three days of administrative detention, including the written explanations of the "candidate of historical sciences and international relations" of the occupying KFU. Vernadsky Andrey Nikiforov. During the hearing, Judge Kyoka did not grant the request to summon Nikiforov himself to the courtroom, contenting himself with his written explanations.

Abdullah Ibragimov himself spent three days in a temporary detention center and was released on July 25.

"This accusation cannot be accepted with heart or common sense. Because the report was made in 2013, when I lived in a country where there are no such bans. I apologize, but the way they (the occupying security forces - ed.) Treated my family during the search deserves some words, which I will not say now. They themselves know everything about their hypocrisy”, - Abdullah stressed.

It is worth noting that the search and subsequent arrest of Ibragimov came on the second day of Eid al-Adha - one of the most important holidays for Muslims.
