Dmytro Snegiryov, a co-chair of the Prava Sprava public initiative, told Suspilne that the United Kingdom is taking great practical action to support Ukraine. On January 24, Britain began actively evacuating some embassy staff in Kyiv due to threats of escalating Russian aggression in Ukraine. According to the expert, this should be considered as an element of military and political pressure on Russia.

“Let’s start with the fact that Ukraine now has a key and strategic military-political role. While Germany is showing complete irresponsibility in providing us with lethal weapons, Great Britain is taking great practical action”, - Dmitry Snegiryov said.

Currently, Britain has begun to actively evacuate some embassy staff from Kyiv. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed that the British Embassy in Kyiv “remains open and will continue to do the necessary work.”

According to Dmitry Snegiryov, Great Britain shows Russia that all talks about a possible military invasion are taken seriously by the West.

“This should be considered as an element of military-political pressure on the Russian Federation. The UK is making it clear to Russia that they are considering an escalation as tensions have already reached their critical point. We should understand such an evacuation not as a signal for panic, but as the element of support for Ukraine. The UK is showing the Russian Federation that all talks about a possible military invasion are taken very seriously by the West”, - he said.

British Foreign Secretary Liz Truss is considering the formation of a new ‘Trilateral’ between the United Kingdom, Poland, and Ukraine. The Russian Federation and Belarus are designated as hostile territories.

The UK Council on Geostrategy announced it on Twitter.

“The Kremlin hasn’t learned the lessons of history. They dream of recreating the Soviet Union, or a kind of ‘Greater Russia’ carving up territory based on ethnicity and language. They claim they want stability, while they work to threaten and destabilize others”, - Liz Truss said.

The Geostrategy Council is an independent, non-profit organization based in Westminster, committed to promoting the strong UK by working closely with allies and partners to maintain an open international order for a more secure and prosperous future.

On January 23, the British Foreign Office released a statement about the plan of the Russian Federation to change power in Ukraine, disclosed by the special services.

They said they had information that Russia wanted to establish a pro-Russian leader in Kyiv, considering the possibility of invasion and occupation of Ukraine.

They said they have information indicating that Russia wants to install a pro-Russian leader in Kyiv, considering the possibility of invasion and occupation of Ukraine.

The government of the United Kingdom claims that according to the plan of the Russian Federation, the former people’s deputy, the owner of the propagandistic TV channel NASH Evgeny Muraev, should become the head of government.

“Britain considers Ukraine as its military-political partner and pays a lot of attention to the technical equipment of the Armed Forces. Western countries are constantly considering the possibility of practical action to prevent Russian military intervention”, - the military expert said.

Dmytro Snegiryov added that it is no coincidence that Ukraine has moved to the practical stage of building two naval bases in Berdyansk and Ochakov, which are within the framework of agreements with the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

“If you compare the United Kingdom with other foreign partners, the United Kingdom is the only one that is taking concrete steps to re-equip the Armed Forces of Ukraine”, - the activist added.
