The Security Service of Ukraine has exposed criminals who were earning money for the treatment of the military of the Russian Federation in the temporarily occupied Crimea.

This was reported by the press center of the SSU.

It is noted that the attackers provided resort services to militants from ORDLO and the Russian military, and in return received millions in monthly income for it.

Detectives and investigators of the special services established that the scheme was organized by the management of one of the sanatoriums located in Saki (TOT AR Crimea). After the temporary annexation of the peninsula, the health resort was re-registered with the occupation administration and an agreement was signed with the Russian Ministry of Defense.

"When all the management of the sanatorium moved to Kyiv, only the general director of the sanatorium remained in the temporarily occupied territory. He is a deputy of the Saki city council from one of the key parties of the Russian Federation, membership in which he declares from July 1, 2014. At the same time, he did not apply to the Consulate of Ukraine regarding the change of citizenship, ”the statement reads.

It is noted that the attackers came up with a scheme to ensure that the "Kiev" management of the sanatorium received money. In Ukraine, they have registered a "mirror" legal entity, the heads and employees of which are citizens of Ukraine. Funds were transferred to her accounts to transfer them in cash.

Money was legalized through the purchase and sale of securities.

During the searches conducted at the place of residence of the scheme participants, the following were seized: seals, stamps, prints; documentation, e-mail correspondence with accomplices from the TOT of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and other items certifying illegal activity.

Currently, one of the organizers of the "scheme" and his accomplice were informed about the suspicion under Part 3 of Art. 27, part 2 of Art. 28 and Art. 220-2 (falsification of financial documents and reports of a financial organization, concealment of insolvency of a financial institution or grounds for revocation (cancellation) of a license of a financial institution) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

Investigative actions are underway to establish involvement in the criminal activities of others.

Almost every day began with the fact that we looked into the yard - "Didn't anyone come to visit us?". Then they flipped through the tapes of social networks with one question: "Didn't the security officers come to my acquaintances, friends, neighbours today?" The new Crimean reality required courageous people who could defend the people, especially the Crimean Tatar people, as they basically did not accept the reality that had occurred. The Crimean Tatar people did not take part in the so-called "referendum" in the elections to the state authorities of the Russian Federation. Because of this, the Russian authorities decided to punish him.

Reflecting on how to resist repression, my friends and I decided to learn from the experience of our dissident ancestors, activists - Crimean Tatars, who in the 60-90s peacefully fought for the return of the people to their historic homeland in Crimea, after the terrible Stalin's deportation in 1944. I started coming to the places of searches and courts together with other guys. Through smartphones, we covered the events that took place in Crimea: arrests, searches, detentions. All professional media were forced to leave the peninsula under pressure from security forces, so we took on the role of covering the lawlessness that is taking place in Crimea. Because of this, I was repeatedly persecuted - in addition to threats from the security forces, I twice sat in a special detention centre for contrived articles, so to speak, "there would be a person - the article will be found".

On March 25, 2019, I was going to the city of Rostov-on-Don. Before reaching Rostov, security officers abducted me and two of my friends. We were severely beaten in a forest strip on one of the Rostov highways. Beatings were accompanied by obscene swearing and physical abuse. People in black threw me and my friends into a gazelle and took the beaten to the FSB of Crimea, where they violated the three of us, and as it turned out later 29 people, criminal cases. Me and my friends, activists of the Crimean solidarity, are accused of organizing terrorist activities Hizb ut-Tahrir. Until 2014, there was no terrorism or extremism in Crimea! After 2014, the FSS appeared in Crimea, followed by hundreds of criminal cases. Our criminal case is one of them.

Life in a pre-trial detention centre is different from freedom. Here are their rules and regulations. A person gets used to everything. One thing pleases - you are not sitting for murder, robbery, or rape - you are sitting for your activism, for your faith! And this is what makes life easier here behind barbed wire. We, the political prisoners, are very warmed by the support provided to us by people of their own free will. These are the food programs delivered by activists, the letters of support that come to us worldwide, and the pleas of thousands of people for us, the Kremlin prisoners, that we feel. Our families and children were not left without care. They, like us, are under the care of the people! Today, I continue to fight the injustice that I once started by hoping for the Lord God and hoping for a change in the situation, I hope for your solidarity.

Prisoner of Faith, Remzi Bekirov.
